                  • Put your Fine-Point Blade in Clamp B on your Cricut Maker
                  • Put the copy paper in the top left corner of a light grip mat and make sure it is thoroughly attached with no bubbles underneath
                  • Load the mat into your Cricut
                  • Put the mat into the guides and then up against the roller wheels and hold it in place
                  • Press the flashing double arrow button on your machine

Press Go (the flashing C with antennae on your machine)

The Cricut will use it's sensor to identify the edges of the box surrounding the image and then cut out the image

Remove the mat from the machine by pressing the flashing double arrow button

Carefully remove the cut out smiley face from the mat

                        • I recommend bringing opposite edges of the mat together and letting the paper gently lift off the mat - that will prevent the paper from curling
                        • Be sure to replace the clear protector sheet on your mat to prevent lint or dust from reducing the stickiness of your mat

Adhere the cut out smiley face to a white paper bag

Place a battery operated tea light or fairy lights into the bag
